We’ve Got You Covered is excited to be working with Methodist Children’s Hospital & an army of volunteers to collect blankets!

Blankets for Babies is a wonderful holiday tradition and it has grown bigger and better each year. With the help of many individuals, churches and school groups, we are able to divide up these blankets and provide them to EIGHT San Antonio area non-profit organizations who serve infants, children and families. By providing them with a winter’s worth of blankets, these organizations can use their funds for other essential needs.

The program started in 1992 at Women’s and Children’s Hospital. The hospital staff proudly collected a box of blankets to present to Any Baby Can during the holidays. Over the years, the program has evolved and grown to allow us to provide for eight non-profit organizations.

Without these wonderful individuals and many others like them, we would not see this mountain of blankets before us! We are fortunate to live in a generous community that never stops giving. The need for these blankets is incredible. They will all be put to good use by the organizations represented here today. This year we will collect over 3,000 items that will be donated to local charities on November 6th, 2011.
